Assalaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullaahee Wa Barakaatuhoo: Dear
Brothers and Sisters: Although
death and dying are not topics of our typical day-to-day discussions,
but they are realities which must eventually be faced by all of us when
the time comes. No one, no
matter if s/he believes in the existence of a creator (GOD) or not, can
deny or stop the onset of death. Muslims
(the followers of Islam) believe that the time of death for any
individual is predetermined, and only Allah (GOD) knows for certain when
it is. HE decrees it according to HIS wisdom.
HE can call us back whenever, and however, HE wants. Even though, most of us try to prepare for death by attempting to do good deeds and trying not to do bad deeds, no one can actually be ready for its reality. When someone leaves this world, obviously, s/he goes through a tough ordeal; as related by the Messenger of Allah (May Allah shower him with Peace and Blessings). But the family members of the deceased also go through a lot of tension and grief. Muslim Funeral Services was established to help not only those who have died but especially those who have been left behind. The most we can do for the person who has just passed away is try to make sure his/her final funeral rites are fulfilled properly, according to the commandments of Allah, and the teachings of HIS Messenger (May Allah shower him with Peace and Blessings). But the majority of our effort is spent on the survivors; trying to help the families through this tough time with proper legal and Islamic guidance (services). Historically (history), Muslims in the United States, and thus, by default, in the Chicago area, going through this time of sorrow not only had to cope with their own natural grief at the lost of a loved one, but also had to deal with the additional tension of trying to follow the proper sunnah method (the way of doing things as taught or demonstrated by the final Messenger of Allah, Mohammad (May Allah shower him with Peace and Blessings), while staying within the local law (funeral procedure). But, Alhamdolillah, if Muslims today have to face the dilemma of a loved one passing away they can rest assured that now there is place where they can turn to that will help them go through this time of grief in a manner that not only fulfills the laws of the state of Illinois, but also the commandments of Allah as taught to us by The Messenger of Allah (May Allah shower him with Peace and Blessings). Alhamdolillah, it is a blessing of Allah that HE has given us the opportunity to serve the ummat (Muslim community) in this manner at their time of need. We are blessed to have people involved in this project who are not only licensed to do this work in the state of Illinois, but are also knowledgeable in the Islamic perspective of things by being certified graduates of established institutions of higher Islamic learning. We specialize in serving Muslims from all ethnic backgrounds, all masjids, community centers, associations, and to all cemeteries of your choice. Please feel free to browse the website and to contact us for more information or to make funeral arrangements for your loved one or for yourself (preneed information). Jazaakumullaahu
